We award over $150,000 in annual scholarships to beverage professionals worldwide. Currently, we offer fifteen scholarship programs, some application-based (award based on merit and need) and some competition-based. Scholarships range from $500-$5000.
Two $800 scholarships to be applied toward introductory level wine education (Court of Master Sommeliers Introductory Class, WSET Leve1 or 2 in Wines, and similar courses/exams.
This application applies to students sitting for the CMS Master Sommelier Exam, Tasting and Practical only. It does not apply to students sitting for the CMS Master Theory Exam. Scholarship amount is $2,000.
This application applies to the 2023 or 2024 CMS Advanced Course or Exam for INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTS ONLY, it excludes residents from Canada and the United States. The scholarship amount is $1500. This scholarship may be awarded retroactively for courses/exams already taken in 2023.
This scholarship is to assist with expenses related to the Court of Master Sommeliers Advanced Course, The Society of Wine Certified Wine Educator Course, or the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines. Scholarship amount is $2000.
This scholarship applies to students sitting for the Master of Wine Exam, Stage 2 or students sitting for the Master Sommelier Exam (Theory, Practical, and/or Tasting) in 2024. Scholarship amount is $2000. Must work and reside in Canada.
This scholarship is to assist with expenses related to the Court of Master Sommeliers-Americas Advanced Exam. This scholarship is in the amount of $1,398.

This scholarship is to assist a woman currently working toward a high-level certification in the wine industry through IMW, CMS or WSET. Scholarship amount is $1000. Texas residents only.
These scholarships apply to any professional looking to further their wine education through online or in-person classes. ***Must work and reside in the United States.
This application applies to students sitting for the Advanced Sommelier Exam, Tasting and Practical only. This scholarship does not apply to the Advanced Theory Exam. The scholarship amount is $1000.
This scholarship for a woman currently working in the Hospitality, Wine, Food, and Beverage Industry in the state of Colorado. Scholarship funds are to be used toward WSET Level 1 or 2, Court of Master Sommeliers Introductory or Certified Courses/Exams, or Society of Wine Educators Certified Specialist of Wine Exam. Scholarship amount is $1000.
